Justin Kim: Co-founder/Treasurer

Hi! I’m Justin, and I’m a sophomore at TJ. A lot of my interest in STEM is in the field of biology, and currently I’m pursuing this by participating in clubs such as Biology Olympiad and Medical Society. I also play violin as part of the Symphonic Orchestra, and run cross country in the fall. I can't wait to inspire more students to experience STEM and research through YRF!

Nishka Shah: Co-founder/Chief Editor

Hey there! My name is Nishka, and I’m a sophomore at TJHSST. I'm interested in environmental science and marine biology. STEM education is a passion of mine, and I’m super excited to work with YRF! At school, I’m involved with Science Olympiad, Environmental Science Club, Oceanography Club, and more! I’m looking forward to helping more young, STEM-oriented minds thrive and succeed.

Veda Murthy: Outreach Coordinator

Hi! I'm Veda, and I'm a sophomore at Thomas Jefferson High School. I am interested in psychology and environmental science. In my free time, I love to dance, sing, and much more. STEM education is one of my passions, and I am so excited to be a member of the YRF team!

Raghav Kasi: Outreach Coordinator

Hi! My name is Raghav, and I'm a sophomore at TJHSST. Outside of school, you can see me running, taking photos of birds, hanging out with friends, or playing video games. I can't wait to show my research expertise through YRF!

Amrit Singh: Webmaster

Hi! My name is Amrit, and I’m a sophomore at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. I am primarily interested in STEM, specifically computer science and engineering, and I am currently pursuing this by participating in computer science and engineering clubs. I also participate in Model UN, Math Team, Cross Country, Track, and Soccer. I’ve had great research opportunities, and I want to pay that forward for kids to have more experience conducting research.

Amy Nam: Social Media Manager

Hi! My name is Amy Nam, and I'm a sophomore at TJHSST. I am passionate about astronomy and physics, and I participate in my school's Computational Physics Club, Astronomy Club, and more. I am on my school's varsity cheer and dive teams, and I also dive at Dominion Dive Club. I enjoy music and playing violin for the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra. I have previously had experience in international STEM research projects, and I am excited to share my expertise and knowledge.
